What's with the sudden generosity? Is this because I keep having to save you and put your back together?
[He hadn't been back here for the last couple of days, which was fairly typical. They didn't always meet up, but it had been now and again. They let each other know, which he had stopped thinking was odd given they were supposed to dislike each other immensely. Here they were in this crazy rodeo again.
He had unclasped part of the harness that kept it on 76, but then he swatted away those questing hands. He was already back here, and he didn't need assistance to undress another person. He'd done it quite a bit, thank you very much.
It did occur to him in that moment that he was actually helping 76 undress, and there weren't any wounds that needed tending to insist on it. His fingers stalled on the snaps and he stared at the back of 76's neck between the array of feathers.
Slowly, he unsnapped the buttons and allowed his fingers to grasp the straps that went over 76's shoulders and under those arms. The very tips of his fingers brushed warm skin as he 'assisted, even feeling the caress of feathers on his cheek as the piece was removed.]
